Change in Plans

Dr. Weiss (the surgeon) just stopped by and told us that he thought Saturday would be a bit soon for the surgery.  Apparently they are looking for the blood to clot a little more around the injury before they do the surgery.  It's looking like Sunday or Monday.  Justin is ok with this news and has actually requested that Dr. Weiss personally perform the surgery.  Dr. Weiss is off for the weekend and has agreed to perform the surgery on Monday.  Justin is more comfortable with this option although Dr. Weiss told him he can change his mind and try to get in on Sunday.  We'll keep you posted!

  1. Morning Justin, so glad to hear your pain level is a little better. I have been asking the Lord to give you a break from it. Dr. Weiss sounds like the guy we've been asking the Lord for. I have no doubt you are in good hands there and, of course, ultimately the Great Physician is in charge and we all know it doesn't get any better than that!! Love you and please smile in the next picture....you're breaking my heart!! :) Love, Aunt Donna

  2. Hi Justin, hope today is a better day . . . maybe enjoy a few visits from friends to take your mind off things. Glad you are waiting for the best surgeon. I agree with Donna, looking at that picture of you makes me want to cry - wish I could reach out and give you a big hug!

  3. Good Morning, Justin. So glad to hear you are getting some relief from the pain and getting a little much needed sleep. Sounds like Dr. Weiss is an answer to prayer and I'm so glad you have confidence in him. Sending prayers and love to you for this day. Take strength from all the love and prayers that are coming your way. They will become the crest of a wave that will see you through this experience. Sandy McGregor

  4. Hey Jukin Lecky...I am happy to hear your finally getting some rest and even a laugh or two. I know that right now things may seem so distant, but before you know it this will all be just a memory. We miss your laugh and smile here at the office and pray each day for your healing. Keep the faith and you know God will get you through this. Look at it this way...if you have to be laid up for a while at least its during football season and you can watch all the games. Hope you have a restful evening!!!

  9. Good Morning Justin, I hope you had a better night than the night before. We have been praying for you every day and thinking about you constantly. Have your picture on our kitchen table I think from your B.D. that Aunt Annie sent us. We will be praying for Dr. Weiss today to be guided by God's hands to put you back together like you were before. Keep up your spirits knowing that you are in all of our prayers and loved very much!!
