Let the Activities Begin!

Justin has really appreciated the visitors he's had over the past week.  It's always a good thing when he can take his mind off the pain and each of you that has visited has provided him something else to focus on.  Thank you!!!  He has actually been out of the house a few times this week which is so good for his spirits.  He's gone over to his house a few times, went to a movie yesterday, and is at the homecoming game right now.  Each of these outings takes a whole lot out of him, but he is pretty good about calling it quits when he's had enough.

Justin's parents left yesterday and his Aunt Annie came into town to help us out.  It was so hard for his parents to leave, but we are so grateful they were able to be here for two whole weeks.  I certainly couldn't have managed without them.  Thank you Grandma & Grandpa Lacey!!

  1. Thank you Monica for continuing to update the blog. I look forward to reading it each day! I know you have alot of responsibilities, but it's nice to stay in touch with Justin's progress. I'm praying not only for Justin & his pain and healing, but I'm praying for you and your family as well! May God continue to give you strength to continue with all that He has called you to do.

    Blessings,
    Shelli Hinkson

  3. Hi Justin!

I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I met you at the store a couple months back. You bought my blackberry from me?? :-) Anyways, I know you hardly know me but I happened to be in the Verizon store tonight and asked about you and they told me you had been in an accident. I hope you don't mind but they gave me your blog, and my heart goes out to you and your family! I would love to come bring you food and just spend some time with you if you like. I could bring my kids, that will put a smile on your face!! :-) I hope you are recovering well and I will pray for you! Remember, I told you before you can never have too many friends and I meant that! :-) You can email me at heathershea04@gmail.com and I'll give you my number again if you want to get in touch! Keep your spirits up, you have a beautiful smile!
    Heather :-)

  5. Justin!
I have been keeping up with your blog and praying for you. I'm so sad you are having to grow through all of this. But I can't think of a stronger person than you. I know you're going to make a much quicker recovery than the doctors are saying. It's so cool that you have Brandon and Monica to be with for now. And those two sweet kiddos! I just found Brandon on FB, so I got to see pics of them. Will you please send me your email address through Brandon's profile on FB? I'd love to chat with you during your recovery process. Take care and heal fast!!!
