Private Room

Justin has been moved to his own room-what a blessing!  Room# 6108.  This will make it so much easier on him for so many reasons and we are grateful.

Justin is about the same.  He had a fairly good night last night with the normal disruptions of being checked routinely by the hospital staff.  We have come to realize that Justin's body moves toward the end of the bed.  This becomes very uncomfortable for him as the traction is not as effective this way.  There were several times during the night that we would reposition him toward the top of the bed and provide him some relief.  So glad we discovered that this was the source of his discomfort.   Continue to pray that God would provide comfort and relief in this waiting period.  Thank you!

  1. Hey Justin! I'm glad to hear you have a nice private room. :) Maybe you can get a little better rest tonight. I just wanted to check in and tell you that you are in our thoughts all the time. I was even talking to one of my friends tonight, about you, who is an ER doc. Hopefully it brings you a little comfort knowing that you are being prayed for all the time...Much love...xoxox Amanda

  2. Yay for a private room!! Although, I have to be honest and tell ya I had visions of you and the mexican roomie becoming buds and writing your "bucket lists." Ha ha!
Joey and I were just telling the story tonight about how Joey would pre-watch Jeopardy and then rewind it and tell us he hit pause and had been waiting to start it until we could all compete against each other. Then, we would sit there annoyed at how quickly he knew all the answers!! Ha ha!! Love, Katie

  3. Good morning Jusin. I hope you're enjoying your private space, although I would think the serenading from your former roomie will be missed! As you know by now, you have a huge support network out there pulling for you. Lots of prayers for you today. Lots of love from your Aunt Annie.

  4. Good Morning, Justin. Glad you have a private room now and that Monica and Brandon were able to provide some muscle to get you back toward the top of the bed to help with the traction. We knew "Big Bird" Brandon and lovely Monica would come in handy! Just wanted to say "hello" for today and send love and prayers to you. Will check the blog tonite. Cousin Sandy

  5. What's up playa? Glad to hear things are going better and you have your own room. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. When do you think you'll be up for seeing visitors? I pray that God will give you relief from the pain and calmness about the surgery. God Bless - Dizzle
